How much roof space do I need?
Roughly 80 to 100 square feet of shadow-free roof for every kW. A typical 3 kW home system needs about 300 square feet.
Does solar work during a power cut?
An on-grid system shuts down during a grid outage for safety. If cuts are frequent, a hybrid system with a battery keeps essentials running.
How does the subsidy reach me?
Under PM Surya Ghar, the subsidy is credited directly to your bank account after the system is inspected and net-metered. We file every document on the national portal for you.
What happens in the monsoon?
Generation dips on cloudy days but doesn't stop. Your annual savings estimate already accounts for monsoon months.
